Pixel Pitstop

I remember at the tender age of 5 playing those Barbie games on my PC and then it was game over for me from then. I think the game I remember most vividly was a 2001 game called Beauty or the Beast, a loose re-telling of the classic tale in a point and click fashion. It was quite dark for a five year old to play actually but I loved it.

From then I became an AVID sims player (still) owning Sims 2-4, the Sims 3 having me in a chokehold, and I remember getting a Nintendo DS as my first handheld console. I didn't really get properly into PC gaming until adulthood but I like that I've got options for choosing what I want to play on. Some games are better on something like the Switch, others on my PC.

I started this blog off of the back of lockdown where all I really had to do was study for my Masters degree and game. One of my friends had asked me for a game review for something I was playing at the time which then cascaded into more of my friends asking to be added to my mini-mailing list.

I love writing and I love gaming and I like sharing my honest thoughts about what I've played, hoping it's entertaining enough and whether you agree or disagree let me know! I'm also always on the look out for new games to play which I will get around to at some point but I do have a 9-5 job so please be patient!
